Sunshine Heroes Foundation was first established in 2007 under the guiding vision of founders Travis & LaRee Hansen. For his professional basketball career, Travis moved his family to Russia in 2006 where he played for Dynamo Moscow. He and his wife felt the pressing need to give back and help children in the area, leading them to renovate a local health clinic and orphanage in Lyubertsy, while also funding several life-changing surgeries. As a result, Sunshine Heroes was formed in 2007. One decade later, Sunshine Heroes Foundation continues to expand its global impact and help children in need. But our story is just getting started.
